Established in 2019, SkinFX Medical Spa is a full-service aesthetic rejuvenation medical spa in Pasadena, CA. It is the dream of registered nurses Jason Trujillo and Anjela Maleki come true. Together with their over 17 years of combined experience as ER and ICU nurses, they decided to invest their time and energy into one of their true passions— helping patients feel beautiful, inside and out. From this, it became their goal to create a medical spa offering a wide range of services that focus on promoting beauty and wellness through products and treatments. As certified master injectors, we offer professional techniques focusing on each patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Kojian M.D. has had extensive training in weight loss, hormone replacement treatments, anti-aging medicine, and has many med spas and weight loss clinics in California. Dr. Kojian went to Medical School at the University of Illinois and trained at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Kojian teaches patients how to eat to lower their hunger, helps them correct deficiencies in their blood tests to boost their metabolism, and shows patients the best exercises to burn fat and tone muscle. Dr. Kojian has been on T.V. and the news many times in Los Angeles as well in Dubai and the middle east, and is considered a leading expert in weight loss and health.
Anjela graduated from Pasadena City College in 2010 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, then continued on to the University of Phoenix in Pasadena in 2015 receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She currently works in the Intensive Care Unit. She transitioned into the field of aesthetics in 2017 and has undergone extensive training in laser treatments, injectables, skin rejuvenation, and weight loss management. Anjela is passionate about the aesthetics field and continues to grow through various hands on trainings with many of the industry leaders. She currently lives in Glendora and enjoys spending time with her family, being a foodie, and traveling.
Jason graduated from Riverside City College in 2013 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, then attended the University of Texas in Arlington attaining his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. He currently works in the emergency department and recently received his Master’s as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He began his training in the aesthetics field in 2018 focusing on weight loss management and IV therapies. Jason’s main focus is providing customized IV therapies to heal and provide nutrients to the human body. He currently lives in Glendora and enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and traveling.
